So on my way home today walking up a hill i noticed someone was carrying one of these funny devices next to me. I walked past not paying much attention to the device as it was quite dark. However, i was actually surprised at how well the unit was moving up hill despite only being a small unit. Just researched on the prices that these go for and no wonder why they are impressive its a lot of money for the units. Heres one in action:

Neat device. Would like to try it and see if it is as easy as he makes out though!
Thing is this will probably go the way of the Segway and be banned from anywhere that is 'public'.
Both are/were great ideas for city and short journeys.
Ridiculous really considering the amount of mobility scooters etc on the footpaths.

It would be great if these docked themselves in the pavements to charge, and you could just hop on one and waft to wherever before dropping it off. Having to carry it around when you're done with it limits their usefulness.

A few people complaining about how the speed limiter can be dangerous. Rightly so, they're trying to remove it.
