I have a Antec P183 case with 3 Apache Black's as case fans. One in the top and two at the front, one in each compartment. I also have 2 Gentle Typhoon fans in Push/Pull on my Corsair H50-1. The two in the top compartment are connected to 3 pin headers and the one in the lower compartment is connected to a 4 pin header.
The query I have is about the one connected to the 4pin header. What is happening is that when I power the pc up it spins up but not to full RPM and then after a few seconds stops and then sits there rocking.
I have tried both this fan on another header and another fan on the 4pin header, this issue only occours with this header. I have also tried turning off Smart Fan control in the bios of my Gigabyte EX58-UD5 motherboard.
Is the above behaviour how PWM keeps the fan if it thinks that it is not needed at the moment?
