Decent fans in a respectable colour = profit. Why did it take so long...

The realisation that a ghastly colour scheme of greenish and brown looks naff in any case seems to have occurred at Akasa while I wasn't looking.

Noticed them in the shop while mooching about...

Nothing if you have'nt any windows in your side panels.

I've heard they're supposed to be better than the Noctua's, though I'm only repeating what I've read on here, I don't know this for sure.

These black ones certainly look nicer than the originals and the Noctua's for that matter.

Noctua fans look like they're made out of the same plastics used for prosthetic limbs!

The black ones certainly are an improvement in the looks department. Ive heard that theyre pretty decent fans, wouldnt mind trying a couple out on my TRUE. Being pwm is also a plus point for me.

EDIT: Picked up one of theese on MM to try out.

My Apaches are better by a couple of degrees on the Noctua's I owned before.

They are quite nice, and pretty good value at £5.00 ono. Gonna pick up another and try them on my TRUE. Used to use arctics previous 400-1500 rpm pwm fans which i really liked.

I found this Nice diagram showing the akasa apache airflow due to the shape of blades compared to normal fans, Although picture is somewhat small you can get the general idea.

Got both flavours of the apache fans today- the green/brown combo isn't nearly as bad as it looks in pics!
They are far from quiet at ~1400rpm, but that is to be expected. They seem to move more air at lower rpm than the tricools and yateloons that they replaced.

just got an apache and it kicks ass :D, but why the price :/ £2 more and its plain black makes no sence :D very high airflow at low speeds. idle 500Rpm to 1000Rpm on average, and quiet for me.
