Akasa Fan Controller Pro Problem

My fan controller has just done some odd (well I say odd but I've known these to do this before but to someone else who never investigated it), basically every time my machine boots up the main LCD display's colour on the controller reverts back to Red (which I've been told is the default) regardless of it being set to Blue before the last shut down.

Is this just a sign of the controller ending it's life expectancy or is there a way of fixing this? I've googled the problem but no resutls, anyone else had this problem and fixed it?

Ironic really as I was thinking of fitting a Scythe Kama-Bay earlier today which would mean removing the Fan Controller, almost as if the Akasa new I was thinking of replacing it and is punishing me

Sounds like its developed a fault or reached its life expectancy if its even possible?
Never experienced it on mine.
I would send a email off to Akasa to see what they say.

Well it officially died of death today, started beeping at me for no apparent reason.

It's now been removed and is keeping the wicker waste paper basket company.

Still got the same problem. Ive had this problem since I brought it. Although mine is still working.

Tom any ideas what your going to replace it with mate? Trip down Halfords for some Car head units??
