Akasa Integral P2 Enclosure - Dead?

Hi guys,

While my rig was down i bought this Akasa Integral P2 enclosure (the E-SATA version) so that i had access to my files. After about two weeks with no problems i disconnected it yesterday, plugged it in today and now it detects the drive but doesn't show up in My Computer or disk management. Every time i unplugged it i used the 'Safely remove hardware' feature and have tried three different drives in it, getting the same problem with all of them.

Is it broken or have i done something wrong?

Yep, all the drives were partitioned before i connected them to the enclosure and all worked in the enclosure. They just stopped working suddenly :confused:
 
with the drives connected..

go my comptuer > right click "manage" > disk management

if you see them there, click on them and im gonna guess youll probably see there whole partion as "unallocated"

if you dont see them in there then something (probably connection / driver / firmware(do they even got driver/firmware?? lol i dunno) is broke...
 
Yep, i've already checked in Disk Management and nothing shows. I tried uninstalling/updating the driver but the same thing happens.

I guess that's another RMA i have to sort out :rolleyes:
