**AKASA PIRANHA IS BACK ON PROMOTION**

Wish you had the controller on offer though! If you made it 5 fans + controller for 50-55 that would be a great deal! Happy to get 2-3 more fans if you could get this sorted ;)

Nvm, free del it's there its just 2nd class :(. Added nzxt grid+ and qualified for next day dpd. Hope it gets here tomorrow.

Nice fans, though not compatible with the controller which kinda defies their purpose... it appears that the grid+ doesn't work with majority or all PWM fans, wish it was stated in the description..

My grid powers them fine :S Can i ask what your problem you seem to be facing is?
Im running 4 across 3 channels (rad ones are on a splitter for better control)

Do you have grid or grid+ ?
They basically spin up and down from 0 to max all the time - can't seem to be able to control them at all. Maybe it's the splitters that are doing the trick and lowering voltage?

My Piranhas are connected to two AIO rads for my GPUs, with a custom curve governed by GPU temperature. Works very well.

This is the square Grid+ :) Make sure uv got latest CAM software!

Having owned both vipers and piranha's, (identical speeds). I found my cpu ran a few c cooler using the piranha's. So there must be something about the blade shape that helps.

To be honest the jagged blade edge does look like it would attract dust/dirt - I've been a big fan of the Vipers (love the bright yellow too) and easy to clean when needed - I bought 12 for two builds and very pleased with the results - quiet and shift a good amount of air.

Never found that to be a problem tbh. Both very good fans though the piranha is a bit more subtle looking so would suit better in most builds.

Should I get the Piranha or Viper for front and bottom intake, two on heatsink and rear exhaust as they are very similar in spec?

wow this is really great price, i have fractal design r4 black pearl i think, wondering which fan to buy? now i got those 2 installed stock :)
