Hi all,

I have heard a lot of good things on the interweb regarding Akasa's new cooler - the revo. It has some interesting features and just wondered if you guys think this cooler will perform as good as the current air cooling champs? It is supposed to operate at near silence which will be a big bonus because my Zalman 9700NT is noisy at full pelt.

Cheers.

I'm interesting in this cooler as well, but sadly there doesn't seem to be much information on it yet.

Bump for more feedback :)

This is on TWO with a £10 reduction if only their where some good reviews, only found one so far and wasn't that comprehensive.

I'm not sure i'm willing to take a gamble on it until I see a good few more reviews.

Yes I'm interested to see how it would perform on a quad. But not prepared to take the jump until I see results. Not having to remove the motherboard would be a huge bonus.

We did some of our own testing on a Q6600 at OcUK HQ and had very good results. The CPU voltage was ramped up quite a way and had no trouble cooling at all even with the fan stopped.

The reviews I have seen on the net tend to suggest that this is aimed more at the quiet pc market rather than overclockers. Certainly the results that I saw would not suggest that you would have much joy overclocking a quad with this cooler.

Was also wondering about this ever since I saw it on sale, anyone else tested and compared to some of the more established high-performance air coolers?
