Just bought a pair at lunch time to replace my standard iphone earphones. I spend an hour commuting on the train/walking to work a day.
First impressions they are very well made, very sturdy and neat packaging... not that it matters.
Sound wise I'm impressed the bass is solid and mids sound great. My only gripe so far is that a slight lack of treble, feels more bassy - I need to have a play with the iPhones EQ and/or turn it off. However I've only used them for half an hour at the moment - I expect them to change as they soften up. Will let you know in the next couple of days.

I read the "What Hi-Fi" review who were at the time of the review classing them at £100. The fact that they can be had for as low as £40.00 makes them a steal given their assessment. Some people have claimed them to be better than the sr80i's.
Indeed, I've read quite a few reviews on them. Most very positive, a couple commenting that the SQ is not up to scratch - but I don't think you can go wrong for £40~50.
I had a play around with the sound on the iphone this evening and noticed that the EQ was on and set to "Rock" I turned the EQ off and now sounds much better. The treble is now a lot clearer. Again, I'm assuming they will change slightly once worn in but very happy.
Before I got these I've demo'd a pair of Sennheiser HD 218 which I found to be very quiet, I had to turn my iphone up to around 90% before I classed as loud - in comparision the K450s are around 65~70%. They didn't sound to bad, but no where near as good as the K450s.
