Haha yeah I am serious mate, saw this earlier on the news but never heard of him.
I don't think I've been so cut up about someone I've never met dying since Colin McRae in 2007.
It was sad about Bowie, but I never felt a connection with him due to my age and music tastes. Rickman was in a lot of movies from my childhood that I recall fondly. I've just watched Robin Hood because that's the first film I ever remember seeing him in at the age of 8 or 9.
Such a massive loss.

Heard this on the radio driving back from a meeting. As a poster mentioned above it's been a while since I've had an "awwwww crap" moment when hearing about a famous person's death. Brilliant actor.
Leading actor in some of the largest 20th century, and 21st century films and you've never heard of him.
Career spanning 4 decades.
Think it says more about you than him tbh!
There is no excuse to post a 'never heard of him' comment in this day and age.
so you`ve never seen any harry potter movies then or die hard or robin hood.....
