Alan Wake GPU temps high?

Hello does anyone else get really high temps when running this game? When I play BF3 my gpu temp dont do past 55c, on this game am almost hitting 70c Is this a case of bad port?
Am running game maxed out with 2xAA @1080p vsynced @60, it seems really odd to have a game like this make a big difference.

It does heat the GPUs up nicely. I am not sure of how much extra though as mine are under water. Other people have mentioned it is one of the best games for checking temps.

thanks for reply. My temp is fine I think in terms of safe, I just find it odd that a game more demanding like bf3 runs much cooler

Maybe the atmosphere of the game makes everything a little hotter and sweatier?

Yea, I have mentioned in another thread that this game heats up my pair of water cooled 480's like no other game I own. GPU usage is a constant 99-100% across both cards which is very rare.

Probably because Alan Wake has a lot of shadows/lighting effects(very good ones too) which put a lot of stress on the gpu.

turn on vsync? gpu wont be overworked then,same as the hack to enable it for dead island otherwise it runs at a silly 200+ fps
