and? yep XP is nicely matured. but if no-one sold vista how would you expect it to mature like XP did? its been a year since release. SP1 comes soon. its time to move on

Well, its not so much an issue for me as average people who don't find Vista user-friendly and lack the knowledge to build their own system.

Halo2 (not DX10) its a bit buggy cracked for XP.

The so called Crack for Crysis to play with Ultra Settings on XP dont mean its real DX10 features.

Alan Wake may be the 1st real (really real) not buggy DX10 game, hense Vista only.

Quite honestly I think this Vista only rubbish is ABSURD! There is no reason it can't work under XP and making Vista the only supported operating system for the game is out of order on consumers! They shouldn't dp this until Vista has been out for at least 2 years I say! Screw you Microsoft, you're not getting my money.

I haven't looked back since RC2 of Vista. Apart from Creative taking their time with drivers, I've yet to have any problems with gaming. Certainly not 20-30 fps.

What planet are you lot on? show me proof that some1 is getting that kind of FPS loss with Vista with games in general, And I will buy everyone on the forums a copy of Vista.

People who think that they will see a 20-30 fps drop in most games should not move to vista until the next Windows is out because by then their knowledge will be just about upto date for vista.

I am, you may get a slim performance drop, I have a 3800 x2, 2900XT with a 2GB GeIL RAM, I am yet to find a game which gives more than a 5-7FPS drop, IF ANY!

If you are running 1GB RAM, then thats an execption, but I wouldn't think any runs games with Vista with 1GB
