I have my reservations about Alan Wake as it's obvious that the release was pulled back to rework it in a major way. They were doing the marketing previews 2 or 3 years ago and now its gone dead quiet for a while. If the game is not that great and does not sell there is good chance that the studio could go under. I would love to know what their production costs have been so far.

I trust Remedy, just hope it's on par with the max payne series.

Funny i remember reading a post about and someone said "Alan Wake is just a show off game, with ludicrous system requirements" about using Quad Cores.

Althought this was in 2006/7

Agreed, they have made some excellent games but I still think that they have run into some major issues with this one. Most developers do no have an unlimmited production budget and this has surely gone on longer than planned.
