**Alcatel-Lucent 4029 phone problem**

I have a Alcatel-Lucent 4029 phone at work which is getting on my ****!

When I dial out to numbers which have any kind of automated menu system (push 1 for sales etc.) I can't choose the options!!

If I choose a number it acts as if I am making an interal call/transfer.

Anybody have any ideas what may be wrong??
 
the default mode is set server side, chances are it's more common for people in your company to need to transfer calls than use key pad tones.

I always had a quickdial button assigned to it so as I could just press that

Can you program the F1/F2 keys?
