ok ive always been into alternative ways into looking at how the world is running and whats going on.
ive watched a lot of documentries by alex jones and i have always been blown away with what he and his people have put across, but his new addtion " the obama deception " has really made me think. it all makes scence, if you think outside the box and just look at whats going on around us right now in the world.
if you dont know who alex jones is i suggest you google him and take an hour or so just to read or watch some of the stuff he he producing, it is an eye opener.
everyone has a right to an opinion and i for one am starting to think along his lines.
anyone have any views on this subject

lol, i watch alex jones' stuff, but only because it's pure comedy genius! anything in there that is true we already know about, it's no conspiracy (ie US closing Guantanamo Bay only to outsource torture) and nothing is backed up by solid evidence (only a loud mouth)

If he has anything like David Icke's thought processes, then take it all with a pinch of salt. If you look hard enough at clouds you will start to believe that you see faces and objects.

Mr Jones has been mentioned once or twice and the Obama Deception has been discussed at relative length here and here. But yes, I have some views on it, like most conspiracies there are a couple of basically true premises but followed with massive amounts of conjecture and frequently large helpings of complete nonsense.

As I've said more than once my major problem with any conspiracy such as this is the simultaneous crediting of the plotters with both too much and too little imagination/ability - they can keep a secret from the whole World more or less and manipulate everyone yet somehow someone with an over fertile imagination has tracked it all down over the internet? Do me a favour.

For a computer forum, it always staggers me how we always have our once a week conspiracy drivel, generally from someone unfortunate enough to have just 'found' Alex Jones.

Wasn't this nonsense of a documentary also discussed last week? cba to find the thread.

Alex Jones is crafty and manipulative, he will cherry pick information to fit his needs and will quite happily link totally unrelated people places and events as proof of the "Global Agenda". The man also has some strong links with the religious right.

He muddies the water of real journalists like Greg Palast who do a fantastic job of unearthing actual corruption.

Stuck your head above the parapet ......... BOOM! head shot ..... from the grassy knoll.

I think you are missing out a bit from your analogy - "Stuck your head above the parapet (with a documentary by someone who is about as unbiased and prone to hyperbole as Michael Moore) ......... BOOM! head shot (or actually a quite polite dismissal considering exactly the same documentary has been posted at least twice in the past two weeks) ..... from the grassy knoll.".

Independent and critical thought is great, but this is neither.

Can you please list (a) the sources of his information, and (b) the evidence & proof that he presents?

Because I have to say, when I watched his Obama movie, I could not find any point at which he provided any evidence, proof or substantiation for his claims. It was just one guy randomly saying stuff. That's not proof; it's ********.
