Theres a place near me called Tun-It which sells add on tuning boxes. My car is the 140bhp version of the JTDM2 engine and from what i recall it's virtually identical to the 170bhp that they sell so the rest of the car can take the increased power.
Some of the appeal is the claimed fuel savings of around 10%, that would pretty much pay for itself in around 18months of driving due to a new job and the performance benefits for the other occasions would be a free benefit. I'm not spending the money purely for better fuel economy though as i know any claims should be taken with a pinch of salt.
I know there are a lot of these Tuning boxes available. Has anyone heard of Tun-It and can vouch for them? Most of the reviews i can find are only on their website which causes me to be weary.
