I have to say the 8C is one of my favourite cars and would be in my fantasy garage for sure so was interested to see this one appear at Geneva..

Only a concept car at the moment but according to the article Alfa say it will be on sale in 2012.

Looks very interesting though, styling is a bit marmite but who knows what/if will make it to any production version.

It measures just four metres long - the same length as a Mito - and houses the Giulietta's 200bhp 1.7-litre turbocharged petrol engine mounted in the middle, powering the rear wheels. Alfa reckons it'll hit 62mph in under five and rock on to over 155mph.

Check out the pics, the matt paint does it no favours in the flesh but the rendered last 3 of the set show it off best..

I like it :)

I agree the matt paint is not good, here's the rendered pics..

It's gonna look great with a number plate clagged onto the front, lol.

i can only assume it will be on one of the flat sides.

Front end look a lot like an 8c, and the rest, a lot like an elise.

It's a very nice car, but I thought concepts were supposed to be super radical? The only radical thing about that car is the paint job :p

ALSO! Lol at james on the banner. He looks genuinely happy, very contempt :p

Want one.
The front will look awful when the number plate gets put on it.
Wonder if they'll now start putting the TCT gearbox on other Alfa's? Its great in the Mito.

Definitely looks like a Lotus and I imagine when/if it's reviewed that a Lotus is what it will be compared against.

I love the look of it and I have a thing for Alfas but I expect the conclusion to most of the reviews is going to be "If you want something small and sporty buy the Lotus"...
