from a combat pov vastly different as isolation it’s about surviving and whilst it has combat it’s not as often or same style.

Isolation adapts the source material perfectly and the ai on the alien is outstanding it does hunt you and even if trying to save can kill you in the process

I rate both games as 9/10, dead space being more combat focus of the two.

Story wise I don’t think either is better than the other. Isolation is better on a tension side and scary aspect though as always on edge unlike dead space where that’s just gore and isn’t scary at all for me

Loved the first game, perfect continuation from the original film. Can still remember the first time the Alien killed me, proper brown trouser moment

I’ll be getting this. The original was a masterpiece. They captured the atmosphere perfectly. Such good sound and intense gameplay.

I’m feeling edgy just thinking about it!

It’s been that long since last one I’d given up hope of it happening tbf.

First one ended in a way that meant they could have easily carried on though so was always hoping they had more to tell

Yeah for sure, I did search a few times in the past to see if a sequel was in the works but eventually gave up hope. So this is a very pleasant surprise. Maybe not so much for my blood pressure though!

I would love to play this and Resident Evil 7 in VR but I don't think my heart or my pants could take it

I'm currently on my third replay of this game it's one of my all time favourites.

I was half expecting them to announce a refreshed version like dead space and re4.

Make sure you run everywhere, smacking the walls with your spanner and shooting your gun a lot

Alien isolation is a truly scary game IMO. Really pleased that a sequel is in the pipeline.

The new dead space is really good, I've got to the leviathan but it got me
