Aliens channel four friday ninth sept 2011

I have watched aliens many many times over the years.
What version are they showing on channel four?
Just seen 'newts family' drive a dodgy truck to the downed alien ship, and collect a face hugger.
Don't ever recall any such scenes in any previous version.

Anyone seen this version before?

Sentry guns? Interesting, time to keep watching.
Better not ruin a film I enjoy greatly.

Hmm so far not finding the added bits actually adding anything, if anything seemed to remove some of the tension.
Lets see as it progresses.
