Aliens: Colonial Marines

Finished this tonight, story didn't make much sense or explain what it tried to do, will likely trade not sure as mp isn't that bad when playing with friends :/
 
Yes it's not that great but this Game is certainly giving me the willies! I can only play in five minute bursts. What a wuss!
 
Its not the greatest game in the world on PC, and there seems to be a lack of cut scenes explaining things as they go along, but I'm enjoying playing it.

I think the the fact it could be so much more is the the most disappointing thing about out it.

Not just graphically but everything.

They don't appear to be responding to comments.

I believe Eurogamer publicly said they asked Sega and Gearbox a number of questions, to which they would publish them if they responded, but as of yet they haven't.

They know they have a disaster on their hands and there isn't really much they can do about it now other than just hope people buy it.
 
This game is 1 more example of fans being ripped off because they will buy it no matter what as mentioned above to formulate their own opinion.
I enjoy the franchise but not enough to pre-order a new release related to it so I haven't been stung by this but everything I've seen of it (2 friends are huge fans) just stinks of a total con job like.

I really don't know how they can get away cleanly with making that demo which looked great but was not the actual product sold at all.

On the other hand, if Gearbox did pool resources into Borderlands 2 then i'm happy there as that game is amazing.

Not really. You know what you are getting with a COD game, and likely the same with an Apple product, as it will be something you already own but a little bit better.

Being deliberately deceiving and putting out a shoddy product that doesn't do the franchise justice is totally different.
 
The guys at Reddit are going crazy still, its one of the most posted topics since the game came out, it will get some kind of recognition soon by the developers and they will have to make a statement or a reply.

Quoted for truth.. but with all this Gearbox/Sega drama i hope we will be seeing Borderlands 3.
 
In the end I quite enjoyed the single player and had a few decent games on the multiplayer. Definitely a bargain bin game though.
