Aliens vs. Predator Classic 2000 (£2.99)..now on steam

Cant believe you would **** a 'classic' 10 yr old game off, and for £3.00 :eek:

Its a must if you have steam, if only to listen to the marine rifle!

Ah, sorry everyone. I just assumed that they'd have put a rule in there somewhere about liking AvP2 more than AvP1... ;)
 
Funnily enough, was trying to play the original last week. Couldn't get it to work though, massive graphical corruption. :(
Might have to pick this up.

I loved the Alien campaign. Am I a bad person?
 
Well each to their own, but it is one of, if not the most atmospheric game I have ever played.

Not to mention AVP had 85% on gamerankings DESPITE most reviewers saying they were reluctantly marking it down because of no in-game save (which has now been fixed) ...

This still scares me, you have proper light sourced lighting so you go round in pitch black or with just your flare, awaiting for that blipping noise and the impending schreech followed quickly by me panicking firing a grenade and killing myself.
 
I remember playing it back in the day but I found the game extremely difficult for some reason. I also remember one of my friends coming round to play it and literally ****ting his pants when the aliens were chasing him when he played as a marine. Good times.
 
AVP2 was awesome MP and SP and worked on W764 last time i tried ;) I'm not sure the gfx in the new game are that much improved especially compared to the likes of COD4 MW and Crysis...
