Alienware 17 alternatives

I have seen people posting about Alienware issues and wondered if people can suggest any alternatives? The Aorus looks good but seems to have similar overheating issues.

I've seen quite a few people saying to steer clear from msi products for now. Budget is around £2,500 but that might be overkill.

Saw you got yours from Dell outlet. Looks like some good savings there but I'm not a huge fan of buying laptops etc 'refurbished'.

I can heartily recommend the AORUS X5V6 (AORUS is a sister company to Gigabyte). Comes within your budget, 120Hz 1080p display, GTX 1070. Slimmer and slicker than just about anything out at the moment. There's a review of it in my sig.

Nope, it's a slim notebook so can be warm after intensive gaming, but never overheats.

I did like the look of the Aorus MiSJAH but with the savings I managed to get the 1080 with the Alienware 17 for less.
