Hi All,
looking at moving away from desktops and moving to gaming laptop setup. Can people confirm if Alienware laptops are any good? If the Amplifier is anygood?

Also when im not travelling and back at home would a top end monitor still work well connected to the laptop?

I'm sure I read somewhere that the graphics amplifier only connects over 4 lanes of PCI express 3.0? If this is true, I'm wondering if it'd be an expensive way to bottleneck a top-spec graphics card!

I run all sorts of displays on mine without any problem, the R4 models even support VR headsets.

The AMP works well, I am going to do a test with a 1080ti but youtube tests prove no real bottleneck, even with a Titan Pascal.
