well on mine the 2 usb bays on the left are sata3 the 2 on the right are sata2.
i went for the ati card

The other bay is only sata 2.

He wont have optimus with the 3d option.
My 580 overclocks fine. No throttling.

Not when you overvolt it and overclock it properly. We are talking 820-830mhz core levels (same as a GTX560ti desktop chip).

Yes and your card will last really long with that sort of overclock.....
