All Amazon items estimated for delivery on Tuesday or later?

My Bluray copy of Guardians of the Galaxy arrived on Saturday without any issue - was shipped from a Scottish warehouse too ... no copies more local than that eh ha!

Got to say I've made very very good use of my Prime sub the last year - was well worth the initial £49 or whatever it was I paid - still pondering if it'll be worth the new higher figure!

We're on Prime, ordered two items today with next day delivery and Thursday came up as delivery day but now they've been dispatched and will be here tomorrow.

They're not able to cope with the volume of goods purchased at the moment.

Then they should offer a month refund on prime. You get it and pay for it for a reason, especially this time of year. I have it by mistake forgot to unclick it and have it on trial, if they fail to deliver next day then it won't be worth it and will put that as my reason for cancelling :D

Surely that's not rocket science to work out that they might just be having a MASSIVE influx of orders due to all the Black Friday purchases.

:/

Oddly, without Amazon Prime, my Super Saver deliveries have been arriving "super" early compared to the norm. Only 2 days over the last week of orders. Though 2 of which was supposedly missed when someone was clearly at home and no card dropped. Meh.

Because the postal services are all beyond capacity at this time of year.

I know postmen working 16-18 hours a day. This is why you should tip the bloody postman at christmas.

Tip them for doing there job that they get paid for, no thanks.

Anyway i got a free months prime out of it.

Nothing's delivered by the (Royal Mail) postman though, it all comes by Amazon Logistics or some other courier...

(Well, all my stuff has recently anyway...)

They will which is exactly when I emailed them querying it because I knew they'd just slap an extra month on no question and that's exactly what they did.
