Hi,
I've read through the forum for a lot of advice on the latest rig builds. I'm currently on the following which was built for gaming/virtualization 5-6 years ago now:
- i7-3770k @ 3.4GHz
- 32GB RAM
- 500GB Samsung 970 SSD
- Nvidia GTX970
- A fairly crappy old Iiyama 24" screen.
I'm working from home a lot now on two screens and my hobby is gaming. Mostly PUBG and COD:Warzone at present. I really need a new case/components with a decent monitor (main). No other peripherals.
Total budget for the lot is ~£1500. I have a penchant for "Bang for buck". Ideally looking for:
- 16 GB RAM (Minimum)
- M.2 drive, 500GB or more.
- Nice shiny 4k monitor for gaming (if possible)
- GPU to backup that monitor and games for the next 3 years minimum.
Any opinions more than welcome. Thanks all!
