You’re right about PoE providing data connectivity and power over the same cable, but it’s not always that simple - you need to consider the standard of PoE the camera etc. supports and the power loading (each switch has a limit, keep your power draw below that or bad things happen)

If you can tell us exactly what you’ll be connecting, or better yet what you actually need to achieve from this and any specific concerns/requirements, then people will be much better equipped to suggest solutions that will work for you and offer more appropriate advice.

Currently i just want to run 3 tv, 1 printer, 1 camera but that has only power, 1 pc, 1 ps4 , 7 devices in total but i have a little one will want his own pc plus i would like to add cameras and a server to store data etc. So 16 in total for future proofing, as fof cameras i would just but them to suit the 16 port unmanged switch
