Interesting that they're pulling the iPhone 4 stock - I guess they must have really saturated retailers to keep up with demand, otherwise they surely just would have let the stock deplete naturally as people buy it as the cheaper option.

Things certainly seem to be gearing up, however
a) Apple announcing an event
b) iOS 5 GM being released to devs

Are going to be the only things that will turn me from 'anticipating' to 'drooling idiot'. I've got enough saved for the handset now, and my Simplicity tariff was reduced to £16.50 as a loyalty thing, so I should be all set for good times with a new iPhone.

I really hope they stick to the iPhone 4 design with the straight edges rather than going back to the 3GS style curved back. In addition to preference, it's much nicer and easier for applying screen protectors! (invisibleSHEILD, bodyguardz etc)
