I would like to introduce a new section on our website that we have recently started to implement for basically action cameras and dash cams. After a couple of manufacturers decided to take on a few new projects we have also decided to list the products. You can view the whole range on the link below.

we have been testing the asus dash cams over the last couple of weeks to see if they are up to the standard that the we hope for here. the asus models where kindly provided for us to test and they have not disappointed.
as you are aware there a lot of cameras out there for ridiculously cheap prices saying they are 1080p but rarely live up to the description.
i will focus on the asus models as we had them to test so we have a little experience with them.
the asus reco classic is the entry level model but it is far from the lower quality that you would expect from the entry grade. the camera quality is very good as shown below in the videos and it is very easy to use and setup. all the settings are setup to use all the features of the camera but can be turned off with ease in the menu when ever you wish. the image that the camera records in is 1080p and the high quality recording is apparent when played back. it has a 140 degree viewing angle as well so covers a lot of the front view of the car. the only downside to this camera for me is that it does not come with an sd card which is disappointing seen as the camera has no internal memory but not to worry though we are giving you one for free.
the asus reco smart is the higher model which can not only be used in car as a dash cam but is also portable so you can take photos and videos on the move. the reco camera has some slightly better internals than the classic model with its upgraded camera sensor to improve image quality and a wifi chip to allow you to contact to the reco app. the app is a big part of the product as it allows you to stream and preview videos at anytime. the app has basically replaced the on camera display to allow the internals to be better and allow real time streaming on the app. the real time streaming is mainly beneficial for when you use the camera as portable device but it does allow you to look back on videos at any point.
both the cameras have gps tracking as standard so if you were in a crash the cameras detect that and hard lock the video so it can not be wiped. the gps tracking also shows and stores the exact coordinates the crash happened.
i have attached some videos below to show some unboxing and a few clips of the cameras in use. these are done by glyn so that we can show our personal experience and hopefully show the cameras off in use rather than just going off manufacturer details.
