What is a "normal" house fire? Does someone in the street point at it and say "That looks normal".

Surely a house fire is always abnormal?

A suspicious house fire is generally arson.

If your toaster catches fire due to faulty wiring, thats not a suspicious house fire. By unsuspicious they mean it isn't a criminal act.

Fairly obvious really.

It refers to whether it is considered intentional or accidental.

A normal house fire is when someone fails at cooking, or candle burning, etc.

A suspicious house fire is when there's none of the above.
