Hey ppl just a quick check befor ordering , I did look at the i9 bundle but it seems it’s only a 10% difference in performance for the extra 200 pounds

Everything is compatible, but you could get an i7 9700K oem and a Gigabyte Z390 Master for the same price. The board would handle the 9900K if you ever wanted to go with that later down the line. The 9700K would be fine in a cheaper board though.

Also the Define R6 is probably better suited to air cooling as you would have to take the top moduvent off otherwise, or put it in the front.
The Phanteks Enthoo Pro M Glass and Enthoo Pro Glass are worth checking out as well for under £100.

Thanks for your input and recommendations lee32uk ,have made changes to order .

No probs. The 9700K and 8086K/8700K are fairly evenly matched, but the Gigabyte Z390 Master is a far better board than the Z370 Ultra Gaming.

If you don't plan on ever getting a 9900K then a cheaper board like the one below would do fine.
