All round PC for about a grand?

Great components you chose there, good luck on the build :) post pics of finished build?

Build isn't quite the same, I spent way to much time watching/reading reviews yesterday and ended up having £200 more to spend, so swapped some components round, plus I wanted a black/blue colour scheme :D. I'll post a build log tomorrow, but don't expect any epic modding, it is my first build after all :p.

Just realised I haven't posted specs :o Time to amend that methinks

Old spec:
C2D P7350
2GB DDR3
9400M 256MB

New spec:
i5 2500K (hoping for 4.5+, although not sure how feasible this will be considering the only thing I've overclocked before is my phone :o)
6950 Toxic
MSI P67a-GD53 (I have no need for Z68's extra features, and this was in a deal)
Antec True Power 650W
Fractal Arc Midi
2x4GB Corsair Vengeance Low Profile Blue
120GB Corsair Force 3 SSD
Corsair A70 (having second thoughts on this, probably should have asked on here but was in a rush :o)
1TB Samsung F3
New Desk!!!!

It works! Well mostly, but there were a few problems yesterday:

1. The a70 fans weren't changing speed based on cpu usage so I connected them up to the manual fan controller that came with the arc.

2. I tried overclocking using this guide, worked well at 3.6 and 4Ghz, bsod at 4.5 and then wouldn't even boot. Have put it back to stock now.

3. Cable tidying is sooooo much harder than it looks :o

Nice build I like the black theme looks great nice desk.

Is it me or is your front fan not spinning? Did you plug it in? :P

I put all the fans except the rear one on the fan controller that came with the case. When browsing the web its so cool it only needs the rear fan spinning :D
