all season tyres in UK? (London based)

Very happy with my Michelin Crossclimate 2s. I used to run separate summer and winter wheels - but these save the bother. However the price has gone up a bit since I got mine.

Happy with them for general driving. But when it has snowed, they've been pretty much on par with the Continental Wintercontact TS 850s I used to use. But I live somewhere where snow is sometimes to be expected in winter. I might well get something cheaper otherwise.

They do seem to have a bit of an issue where the rolling resistance increases in the wet compared to the last summer tyres I ran.

While on snow likely on par or even better than some winter tyres, I bet the experience would be different on proper ice :s

You live in London, not the remote wilderness or the Scottish Highlands ;)

If you just bumble around in the Merc B thing and then by all means go for a summer/wet based all season like the cross climate 2 or vector 4 Season Gen3.

But a top spec summer tyre will be better unless you're consistently under 5degsC and in wet/slush (refer back to my first paragraph :D)
Fair points and I realise it doesn't matter much. I ask not as a stunt driving enthusiast but rather someone who is going to have to buy new tyres soon and wondered if all seasons made sense. If ever I was to switch over type it'd be now.
