Hey all

I bought a set of Mazda 3 MPS Mk2 Alloys which arrived today.

They are not perfect examples but have very small balance weights to be balanced so nice examples nonetheless.

I plan to take them down to City Powder Coaters this week but am unsure on the colour.

I have a White MPS, It currently has darkish alloys on which IMO I am not a massive fan of.

What colour would you suggest?

My thoughts so far are:
  • Gloss Black with Sparkle
  • Gloss black
  • GunMetal Grey
  • Dark Grey
  • Silver
  • Dark Silver
Or go mad and pick White :/

I value your input, let me have it!

I'm a big fan of gunmetal grey myself. Don't get white or black alloys on a white car it's chav :p

Anthracite or silver. Black looks bloody awful on nearly every car.

Or gold. Or bronze. Then slap an STI badge on the back.

White on white only ever looked good on an appropriate Honda.

Looks like I will be going for Silver.

Thanks peeps

I aim to drop them off on Friday, Should get them back by end of next week.

I would go a darker silver like the gunmetal, will just look like a key everyother set of alloys otherwise

Dark Silver* if going silver, light normal boring silver looks flat and dull, darker silver looks more interesting IMO, YMMV etc etc

* Assuming this is the Hyper Silver kind of effect.. I had a choice of 'silver' or 'hyper silver' for hte CSL reps I have for the M3, and much prefer the Hyper Silver which is a brighter silver on a black undercoat to give that deeper look to the wheel.

Dark silver would look good on a white car, a little more special than plain silver, and not chavtastic like black.
