Can anyone recommend anywhere local to me?

I live in between Wigan & Bolton, but anywhere in the Northwest will do if they are good enough.

TIA :)

The wheel specialist comes recommended by a few people on here and I booked mine in for June. They are national wide and should be one near ish to you.

Have you seen those like for like services offered by some garages.
They already have a refurbished wheel of the exact one you have, and they will swap it for you if you take it to them and you pay for the refurbishment but it's just much quicker and you get to see the finished product before it's put on.
There are ads on fleabay for this type of service just watchout for fitting charges, some include them, some don't.

Genuine Toyota 17" Alloy for genuine Toyota 17" Alloy?

Or Generic 17" Alloy for genuine Toyota 17" Alloy?

If it is the former then fine. If it is the latter than I would be way out of pocket.

Like for like so, exactly the same wheels, same model, same everything, the one you have is just kerbed and theirs is refurbished.
I haven't checked for specifically Toyota ones, but I have seen this service for BMW and Mercs but that because I was only looking for them.

Off the top of my head, theres Wheel Repair Centre (www.wheelrepair.co.uk) in Bamber Bridge near Preston, and Tilling Wheel Refurbishment (www.tillingalloywheelrefurbishment.co.uk/) in Preston.

Not sure what either are like, but I've ducked into WRC before and got them to strip down a wheel to see what metal it was (feared it could be magnesium, which it wasn't, just a very very light Rays forged wheel :D ), and they seemed very professional, Bentleys in and all sorts.
