Hey all, just bought my car a couple weeks ago now, great car (Civic 1.6 Sport) happy with it, great performance and economy in one for what i need & do so i'm chuffed, the one thing thats doing my nut in is the chips on the off side front wheel from the previous owner kurbing it, i was totally aware of these when i bought it, and its nothing performance failing but the last thing you want when you've spent a lot is a chippy wheel, right? :D

The chips aren't too bad, most are very very minor with one slightly larger one which obviously in the cold light of day (When the car hasn't been cleaned for a bit and the rest of the wheels are a bit murkier) they stand out a bit.

Just to reitterate, ths seriously was not done by me!! I'm a good driver :p I'm just not sure if there's any way to get these chips scaled down/filled in? (I'm not even sure what i'm saying at this juncture, but making them smaller would be nice!) i'll let the pictures do the talking. :)

Either call your local chips away guy (they do minor alloy repairs) or look in the yellow pages.

That shouldnt cost more than £40 a wheel.

That is probably the most pathetic kurbing I have ever seen.. go back to the kurb and do it properly before you moan about nothing ! :p

I'm a fussy perfectionist!! :D the big one is the one that irks me!
