Just bought some second alloys with tyres fitted and balanced and wondered can i just swop them to my car or would the wheels need baalncing on my car? Thanks

Thanks that's what I thought. As they are second do you think it would be worth getting them balanced or just putting them on and seek for there is any wobble or issues

I'd assume he meant second hand, in which case, unless balanced recently, it might be a good idea to get them checked...personally I'd just stick the wheels on and see what happens. :p

Apologies typos. No they are second hand genuine bmw alloys that have just been refurbished and had new tyres out on them

If new tyres have been fitted by a garage / fitter (rather than bashed on at home) then they'll be balanced anyway so just stick them on the car, they'll be fine.

The wheels have done a 100 miles since refurb so are dirty behind as are magnets but cleaned them last night. Magnets don't look shiny but think they are black but don't look old either

Put them on and take the car for a test drive, if you feel like something is wrong then take it to a tyre place and they can sort out the balance for you
