Hey guys,
I was planning to buy an X360 and TDU, but when I played PGR3 on the demo system I noticed quite a few jaggies that I thought needed anti-aliasing bady. Thinking that it was just a glitch in the demo or something, I asked the sales assistant if he could put TDU just as a quick comparison. After a couple of minutes of gameplay I pretty much was suprised at the need of anti-aliasing in the game. Being a little bit shocked I told the guy that I'd pop back in tomoz.

After reading a couple more reviews of X360 games, I still don't really understand why the games left me a bit 'let down'. The reviews I read claim the graphics great, but I didn't really feel that they were mind blowing. I might have been expecting too much but still feel the desire to get one (and probably will). What do you guys reckon? Were my expectations too high and what do you think about your 360?

BTW, this isn't a rant or anything...I just would like to know your opinions.

Cheers Sutcliffe

Thanks for the comments so far guys...lol just after looking at all the screenshots etc, I was kinda just shocked at the jaggies.

Keep the comments coming :)

I suggest you buy a PC. Then you can spend hours/days/months tweaking options until you have it nearly as you would like it. Meanwhile 360 owners will be playing and enjoying the game.

lol, as other users have stated 'gameplay > graphics' and I do agree with that. I was just a little suprised when I saw the 360's graphics today and was wondering wether that was just me or have other users noticed the jaggies.

Thanks for the advice guys, got one today. After a couple of hrs of TDU I can't keep the grin off my face :D ....it is sensational. I must say, it certainly does look a lot better on my 32" Hitachi LCD than the demo at the shops.
