almost died last night

Had a fever passing out last night, could not remember anything, apart from the mega pain in my head, body was hot, i was cold couldnt breathe well unable to stand up pains all over my body. i was having conversations with nhs direct but i can't remember.

Isn't that a sexual climax??

Explain this thread. Either someone got some horrific virus and nearly died then posted on OCuK about it (a predictable conclusion) or he got a bit a fever and in a sweaty benellined up state he began to question his own mortality, then posted on OCuK about it.

One person, yes. Who may have been properly ill.

From that you conclude some sexist babbling is true about half of humanity. That isn't rational.

You didn't almost die. You have the flu.

The two aren't incompatible. Flu can be fatal. The biggest single plague in terms of number of fatalities was flu (the Black Death of the mid 14th century was far worse in terms of percentage of population killed in Europe, but killed fewer people overall).

sounds like my typical friday night and subsequent saturday morning

Sounds like some allergic reaction to me (although it could be an infection as you stated)

However you didn't even come close to nearly dying. I have been in crash in A&E for 15 minutes with serious breathing issues (I am a chronic asthmatic) and that does class as nearly dying!

What made you feel the need to post on the Internet? :D No medical threads...
