Can someone explain what happen to my CPU.

Untitled-1.png

I was gaming like I do and my PC crashed, Now I thought it was my GPU drivers crashing but the pc restarted. After I heard the fans wouldnt turn down I doubled checked cpu temp and found this.

Now I run a custom loop but I could have sworen the pump was still running, I could feel it. But GPU and cpu temps started to rise. Replacing the thermal paste after the over heat and such, Checking everything. It seems am back to normal, with normal idle temps etc....

I have no doubt its maybe caused heat damage to the CPU?

Air in the loop possibly?

Shouldn't have damaged anything, usually the PC will shutdown to protect itself before any damage is done.

It did shut down, Now running BF4 and temps are good. No lock ups or anything.

Can a air bubble really rekt a loop that badly?

yep, if you have an airlock it stops the flow of water in the loop, or if you maybe had air in the block then the temps would shoot up too.

but nothing changed when I put new thermal on and rebooted. Unless it shifted when I did that I guess..

It scared me though......
