Almost there with my network, just need some quick help

Right, got two PCs running XP Pro, and this laptop running Vista. The two PCs can see this laptop, but I can't see the two PCs. However, I can access my iTunes library on one PC so there's definitely communication there, I just need to make them visible in 'Networks'. What do I need to change?

Are you running Windows Firewall on those XP pcs by any chance?

windows firewall will not interfere with file and print sharing. Most 3rd party firewalls on the other hand, will.

I've got my firewalls off for the purpose of setting this up so don't think it's that, it's just odd that I can access the main PC but not "see" it. :confused:

Funny, i've had occasions where it has done just exactly that.

It most certainly will unless File & Printer Sharing is enabled in the firewall exceptions.
