Still needs mopping, and the wings may possibly have to be blown in from the bonnet.

Very happy so far, needs some tweaking here & there, but she's getting there !

Its low, but it handles so much better ! Doesn't roll any more, a little scary on rondabouts in the wet though !

It was originally lowered 35-40mm ish, we took it down another 45mm.

Did you renew the seals and bearings when you dropped the torsion bar again? If not it is almost certain to wear out very quickly.

The lights and foglights are smoked, bought specifically to match the wheels and tints. Mirrors i am undecided on at the moment, they are hard to see out of !

There is no excessive wear on the tyres, it helps that the wheels are OEM wheels.

It doesnt catch anywhere over speedbumps, and although it looks it, its not anywhere near as low as my old R5 was !

Its only about 60mm on the front, and around 80mm on the rear !

Only? They really aren't designed to go that low - the torsion assembly will wear out very rapidly (the shafts and bearings will expire rather than the torsion bars themselves) They also handle worse when set that low - 20mm or so is a far better idea.

mirrors are horrid. The rear looks lower than the fron in that pic. Not keen on the front lights but they could be much worse tbh. Nice wheels, wrong car.

The rear does look lower, but its not.

I'll get a side on pic tomorrow, its even !

I'm glad people are commenting on the mirrors, its giving me an incentive to take them back off, ive been looking for an excuse !

That is too low, it does not handle better. The amount of bumps and bangs and creaks you will feel from it being that low will give the illusion of it handling better, but unfortunately it will handle like an absolute pig. The rear will be jumping about all over the place and turn-in will be reduced. It will also eat driveshafts, cause gearbox problems and as lopez says torsion bar bearings. -30mm is about the max you want to drop a saxo really.

Don't really like the mirrors and they have the downside of not being able to see anything out of them. Also are they adjustable from inside the car - probably not.

Don't really like window tints on saxo's either as they have that funny line round the rear windows where the film doesn't stick to it.

I like the outside of the grill painted body colour, don't know why citroen didn't do it standard but I would have kept the slats in instead of the mesh, but at least paint the mesh black and it will look better.

However the anthracite VTS wheels, smoked front and rear lights look great :)

Ahwell, i like it :)

Dont think it staying long, was offered £3.5k for it last night, really trying to find a reason not to sell it !

hate it ;)

Wheels look bland and rather ordinary, wing mirrors look like cheap add on tat. Standard car looks much better imo, seen a couple of lads on here with them.

I've had the rear on my clio lowered for about 6months now, when will I notice the ill effects? The car handles way better on mine when it was slammed on it's arse too. Slightly lower at the rear than front, I don't get much oversteer but a fair bit of understeer (wheels are 17"/215)

Oh and with any lowered car you will eventually get uneven tyre wear on the insides, more visible on the rear as theres no adjustment.

I think the car looks good aswell, not too sure on the mirrors though.
