Almost There...

Well I disagree with all of you on this one. I like my cars low, this one has a proper man's lowering job, so it gets thumbs up. Nice work Phil W :D Not like these half assed 20mm lowering jobs. 1. what the hell is 20mm? 2. What's the point in lowering something under an inch? Either lower it properly or don't bother

However I would drop the front a bit more as it does have a bit of a tail drag to it. But that's probably just the photo doing it...

I concur...40mm isn't 'lowered'...40mm is a weekly shop in the boot and a fat friend in the passenger seat.

I like the way the wheels fill the arches but the back is too low for me. I can't stand it when people lower their cars and the wheels are too small so they don't follow the line of the arch leaving massive V shaped gaps around the wheel.

If you can't go low...Go high:

Chevy Montecarlo/Cutlass hybrid, 28" rims, stands seven feet tall.

Oooooh I just know how this pic will be received on here.

It was lowered more at the front than the back, it looked stupid.

I like it like that, which is why it looks the way it does (except for the mirrors, mistake !) Mesh does need to be black, but tbh i just want a standard citroen grill now to match the black bits !

You would accept £350 ? So because its doesnt look to your taste, you would sell a car for that price, when it is worth a couple of thousand more ?

They are not permanent modifications, my friend is a mechanic and if required i could get it raised back up, lucky i dont need to...

Is changing the looks slightly worth making your car handle worse?

If it really is 80mm at the back it must be sat on the bumpstops, and if it isnt it probably bottoms out when cornering hard, which wont be any good for the handling.

Definitely needs something doing about the wings, theres a marked difference between them and the bonnet.

First thoughts were "well that's chavtastic". :(

Sorry not my kind of thing, I don't mind the odd mod here and there but that just looks too much on a car of that size. Nice colour though :)

Ewww what have you done :(

Get it raised to a decent height, loose those mirrors and I'm not overly keen on the front lights either :/
