Just went out and got this game... loaded it up and found no sound when using weapons. Thought it must be a bug on my system, so downloaded the latest sound drivers etc, problem was still there.

So i look at the back of the box and no vista listed on the compatible operating system list.

What kind of company releases a game after the release of a new operating system and doesnt support it?

Spose they took so long making it that it doesn't support Vista.

It's ok, you're not missing out on much anyway if the Demo is anything to go by lol.

Didn't you check the back of the box before laying down the cash! Hell, this is the 21st Century so you don't even have to leave your home to check on the required specs of a game before buying.

My system is pretty up to date.. i havent had to check the spec of a game for years (because the games companies never ask for the best possible).

Dont think I have checked the required specs of a game since I owned an Amiga

I prefer to strike first by checking the specs, way before Sod's Law gets a chance to!

It user’s the Ageia PhysX API like many games but not heard anything about PhysX accelerator support.

Lists it as a PhysX accelerator game but not found any evidence on the main website. Guess I have to download the demo tomorrow.

Performance is very good which make's a nice change.
not sure on how good the game is only shortly into it.

seems it only works with x-fi cards.... ordered one... picking it up at work tomorrow. Hopefully it'll work lol

gfx looks like the doom3 engine, if so thats why the performance will be good.

can confirm this game runs great on a 7600gs agp with all details in game set to max at 1360x768.

very nice programmed game.

got the sound working with the x-fi no problems.. shame the game crashes out on the 2nd level. Guess its time to wait for a patch
