Alpha Protocol

I have bashed this game hard over the weekend.

On what I presume is the last level, playing on hard difficulty.

I started off trying to be the good guy, not killing civillians etc but quickly got bored with that so just went mental and killed everyone and everything.

I'm really enjoying it, the dialogue and characters are so funny at times.

Will be replaying it through again straight after I have finished it!
 
It's not just me then! I've had a very enjoyable weekend with this, there's no doubt it has flaws but some of those I think come from expectations of gameplay style - I came straight from SC Conviction to this and needless to say my initial tactics were not working.

I think I'm also nearing the final level and will be restarting to try the other options out as soon as it's finished.
Medium difficulty for me and acting as the all-American hero, so time to get nasty in the next playthrough :p.

I admit I was hoping for more and it does struggle a bit on the graphics front, but it is by no means a bad game and I for one hope that Obsidian get the chance to correct any mistakes with a sequel.
I see it a bit like the first Assassin's Creed - a great concept but mistakes made in execution.
 
^^^ yeah what they said.. been seeing more genuine positive reviewing of this game from users and yet most of the review sites slate it hrmmm.....who to believe ehh!

gonna rent it on ps3 methinks. (hacking controls more suited on console from what i hear)
 
Started this today. Only done about 20 minutes but i like it already :D Has a good vibe about it. No negatives so far
 
Glad Skully and my impressions didn't let you down :cool:

An under-rated game as far as I'm concerned, it held my attention throughout and had enough variation in missions that I didn't get bored.

i managed to get to the last Mission on Saudi Arabia before i had to return it (rental). Very good game, i like it. I'm focusing on hand to hand combat and pistols. The ai can be a bit glitchy but it doesnt bother me. Graphics seem quite good to me. Only had one game crash so far.

The price of this has come right down though :D £20 new on amazon.
