If you have access to the control panel I would change all system sounds to that

. Though dont do the windows startup as that pauses until it completes the clip...

Gotta laugh everytime he tries to minimise, maximise something or closes/opens it...

Perhaps use an individual clip for each action to spice it up but rename them to identical to what window uses just put them in a different folder - might be enough to vex him...

How about the normal sound then a few minute silence.. then the random noises! That way he will have no idea whats going on and wont be suspisious?

Certainly sounds like it. You can turn it off in the TOAD options, or (if you're sneaky) I think you can edit the TOAD.ini file in C:\Program Files\Quest Software\TOAD folder or wherever he's installed it if you have access to his C drive.

(Not that I've done such a thing in the past!)
