Altered Carbon

Yeah it's not stuck with cable rules, I can't find the quote now but they've supposedly filmed a fight scene with everything on show similar to Eastern Promise.

Meh they said the same about BR 2049 and I loved that. Can't wait but I'm going to have to slightly to binge it on the OLED TV to get Dolby Vision instead of normal 4k.

Finally got time to start it yesterday got to episode 7, really enjoying it so far. I like how the world is built and set, multirace and cultural but doesn't draw attention to that and the swapping between different languages isn't hard to keep up with at all.

It's a shame they only seem to have the one set for the 'ground' level stuff, when they had the chase scene you could tell it was up and down the same few pieces.

Finished it last night, dropped off for me once the sister storyline started as I really struggled to believe that she'd do what she did just to try getting her brother back.

Shame that if this gets renewed for s2 we'll likely have a cast reboot no more Ortega :( as the next book is on another planet from what I read last night.

Out of all the deaths the only one that I was gutted for was Poe as he was my favourite character from him first appearing.

I think some of that is down to the writing, In one of the last episodes where she 'isn't herself' that acting for those few minutes is miles ahead anything else in the show when she's playing 'badass cop'
