Alternate Presents for Girls

If I was a woman I'd appreciate a huge mansion/estate/really big house, or the equivilent in sterling.

(honestly though she'd be appreciative of something unique to your experiences with her. we can't tell you what to get/make unless we know what you two've done together (not in a sexual way ;)) for example if you've had a massive convo about favourite curries or something...cook her her favourite.

She jokes that Im 12 (as im a couple of years younger than her)
I got her cakes because she said she was supposed to cook some for cake club at work, but she isnt a very good cook - so i deleivered them to her work.
She lives in London but doesnt like it and loves to sleep, but I always stop her (nothing dodgy)

Sleep related stuff can be quite cute. Depending how much you want to spend you could go for one of those tempur matresses, or maybe see if you can get some personalised embroided bed sheets or some novelty pillow of her favourite character or something. Loads of scope there :)

A good toy for a girl

You're missing a key point that several posters have made: people are not all the same. You can't expect many serious answers without taking that into account.

e.g. one woman might be well pleased with a copy of GTA4. Another woman might like a "choose any porno DVD" voucher from some porn shop. Another woman might like a passenger trip round a track in a racing car, but another woman might prefer a few laps driving herself. Another woman might like a gift trip to a hairdresser (I'm sure you could arrange something). Another woman might like a trip to a sauna...maybe it's something she's thought about doing but never got round to arranging for herself. Another woman might like a massage. Another woman might like a facial. Another woman might like the other kind of facial :) Another woman might like tickets for the opera. Another woman might like a Haynes manual for her car.

etc, etc.
 
Nintendo DS, fail safe as there are lots of games that appeal (ie that cooking game so she can feel like she's good at cooking....)

yeah, all women arent the same. Thats why im looking for ideas and I can choose the best, hopefully taking credit as well

Ive Suggested Barcelona, she wasnt keen.
Im liking a sleep related item - mattress is a bit much but think were onto something!
