Alternative Android dashboard

Having broken down this year with water pump failure and having no coolant gauge ( how stupid is this ? )I have downloaded a free version of an app , car scanner and it has a dashboard , just wondering if anyone else uses an android dashboard, maybe with more info having said that.most of you guys don't drive skanky cars like me

There's an app called DashOBD which is apparently compatible with Android Auto. I've had it downloaded for ages but haven't actually even tried using it as I need to dig out the Bluetooth OBD plug I have somewhere.

That's quite cool, haven't seen this before. I guess you need an OBD plug?
