O right OK. Did the solicitors have any input on it? I just wonder if Which is over complicating the issue and the other solicitors don't see it as an issue.
When I had issues the item was covered under the law applicable at the time.
The solicitors supplied by my home insurers gave me advice in 2014, they didn't act for me. I'm now escalating this in order for them to send a letter to the supplying dealer.
Which Act applies is apparently conditional on the purchase date. If after October 2015 then the Consumer Rights Act applies, if before then it's The Sale of Goods Act which has fewer teeth than the CRA.
