Alternative health care

My wife has a health plan with Axa, provided by her work. Just had a surgery for my son through their service at a private hospital this week, something which the NHS refused to acknowledge until he was a certain age. Anyway, really happy with the appointments we've had and the care while we were in with him was nothing short of excellent. A far cry from what we've experienced with him while he's been at the local NHS hospital, for a start, they actually wanted to see him rather than trying to fob you off over the phone.
Sorry for the rant... Long story short, I think we pay tiny amounts to have him covered as an extra and wouldn't consider stopping paying for this.

The reason they are so willing is the're going to get paid through the insurance, the NHS has to prioritise treatment because of funding totally different aproach
